What are you working on? What have you finished? What do you need encouragement on?

Are there any cool events or challenges happening that you want to hype?

What do you just want to talk about?

What have you been watching or reading?

Chores and other not-fun things count!

Remember to encourage other commenters and we have a discord where we can do work-alongs and chat, linked in the sticky

Back for another round of Thursday Recs!

This week is a semi self-rec for [community profile] newcomers; I'm working with [personal profile] ysabetwordsmith to build up some resources there for people who are fleeing Tumblr—or at least giving the site some serious side-eye with the recent layoffs. If you're new to Dreamwidth or know someone who is considering it as a potential landing spot if Tumblr implodes, it's a good place to learn how this site works!

Do you have a rec for this week? Just reply to this post with something queer or queer-adjacent (such as, soap made by a queer person that isn't necessarily queer themed) that you'd, well, recommend. Self-recs are welcome, as are recs for fandom-related content!

Or have you tried something that's been recced here? Do you have your own report to share about it? I'd love to hear about it!

Moving right along, it's time for Thursday Recs!

I've recced NerdyKeppie before, but one of their biggest suppliers is shutting down due to the new tariffs. They're currently running a sale for everything in their Free Domestic Shipping category as a send-off: Use the code BYE15 during checkout, and you'll get 15% off of items in that collection. The sale will end at 11:59pm US Pacific time on April 15th.

There's some really great stuff there that it'll suck to say goodbye to, but rest assured that the team is already looking into new alternatives. In the mean time, hopefully you'll be able to snag something cool before it's gone!

Update: Unfortunately, the supplier for those items decided to shut down the website Spider sends the orders through without notice, and it's questionable how many orders they were even able to get through before the cut off. Anyone whose orders didn't get through will be refunded, and hopefully there'll be lots of good recs in this post that can help make up for this one going south. [/update]
